MILFORD - Police say a state trooper fatally shot a man attempting to rob a Milford gas station on Wednesday.
Authorities say the armed suspect was holding up the Patriot Fuels convenience store at around 3 a.m. when the trooper, on routine patrol, walked in on the incident. They add that the trooper told the suspect to drop his weapon and fired upon him when he refused.
